It's simply a calm place to begin building positive thoughts about yourself. We truly believe that changing your mindset can impact how you treat yourself and others.
The goal is to do so with kindness. Most people are taught to be kind to and care for others, but in that, we can sometimes lose ourselves. For generations, caring for oneself, having high self-esteem and positive self-talk was considered arrogant. We disagree.
We believe that embracing positive self-talk, in a rational and kind way, builds you up and can play a role in healing from past trauma, helping you reach your goals, and improving overall quality of life. We also believe that kindness is self-perpetuating: When you are kind to yourself, you are kinder to others. And when you are kind to others, you can also learn to be kinder to yourself.
While CopeKind™ will never replace care from professional mental health and medical providers, we are here to encourage you to use this website and our YouTube channel to incorporate positive thinking into your life. We do not provide therapy, counseling, or referrals.
We DO provide gentle experiences and perhaps new perspectives and encouragement to help you view life's situations in a different, more uplifting way. Sometimes that is simply helping you accept that there is nothing wrong with where you are and how you are feeling in this moment. Wherever you are, we hope our videos help you recognize your own resilience, your ability to be kind to yourself, and the power of your thoughts to soothe your emotions.
As we continue to grow, we’ll be adding more videos, affirmations, and resources. Stay tuned, and check back often — your support now helps shape the future of CopeKind. I’m excited for all the ways CopeKind will grow with you. Let’s build a kinder world together.
Thank you for being here and sharing the beginning of CopeKind™ with me.
Respectfully and with care,
Anne Marie
